INFRASTRUCTURE
Our nation is only as strong as its infrastructure. The state of our highways, bridges, and airports are just a few of the examples we think of when we think of infrastructure, however, we also need to pay attention to access to broadband, clean water systems, waste water systems, more efficient modes of transportation, medical supply chains, and other projects that help our nation grow and thrive. Infrastructure is an investment in our future, with smaller investments in the millions paying dividends in the billions of dollars. Investing in infrastructure is our duty to future generations. It drives the economy, our people, and our success.
MY PRIORITIES:
Fix our crumbling roads, bridges, airports, and transportation systems to improve commuting and commerce
Implement universal broadband throughout the district and nation
Help vulnerable communities and businesses benefit from newer and greener clean and waste water systems
Improve energy efficiency and support initiatives to respond to the challenges of climate change in our infrastructure
Improve our supply chains, especially medical supply chains, to better respond to our nation’s challenges
